South Florida Pharmacy Programs Collaborate on Preceptor Development

Faculty, Preceptors and Student Pharmacists from CCFL, LU, NSU and PBAU

Miami, FL – Experiential education teams from Larkin University (LU) College of Pharmacy, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Pharmacy, and Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBAU) Lloyd L Gregory School of Pharmacy gathered at Cleveland Clinic Florida (CCFL) on February 23, 2017 to record preceptor development videos.

Students, CCFL preceptors, and members from each institution played a role in these cinematic productions to aid the experiential learning of student pharmacists from South Florida. The videos will be submitted to the Annual Meeting of Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) as part of an Experiential Track and will be broadcasted as part of a segment titled “Providing Effective Feedback to Students and Residents”. Colleges of Pharmacy from across the state are collaborating to provide this educational opportunity to fellow pharmacists and preceptors.
