LU College of Biomedical Sciences organizes The Medical School Interview: What to expect and how to prepare

 

The College of Biomedical Sciences at Larkin University organized The Medical School Interview: What to expect and how to prepare. The event took place on November 22nd at the LU’s Library was and was presented by Ms. Monica Lopez, Director of Admissions at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. Ms. Lopez provided a critical information regarding one of the most important phases of the medical school application; the Interview process. During her presentation, she offered insight into various types of admission interviews, preparation for the interview, what to bring and wear, and what questions the students may be asked.

The College of Biomedical Sciences offers a one-year post-baccalaureate Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program aimed at students who would like to strengthen their application to health professional schools. Alumni of the college have been accepted to St. George’s University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine, American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, International American University College of Medicine, Barry University School of Podiatry Medicine, Nova Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Larkin College of Pharmacy.
