Second Edition of Residency Prep Book published by ASHP

Larkin University is honored to have one of the most respected and recognized pharmacy residency experts on their faculty team, Dr. Joshua Caballero, Pharm.D., BCPP, FCCP, chair of the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences in the College of Pharmacy. Dr. Caballero, along with co-editors Dr. Kevin Clauson and Dr. Sandra Benavides, has revised and released the second edition of the acclaimed residency preparatory book, Get the Residency: ASHP’s Guide to Residency Interviews and Preparation. This book is acclaimed by students attempting to apply for residencies and fellowships as one of the most succinct and useful resources when embarking on the decision to pursue postgraduate pharmacy training. Dr. Caballero authored several chapters, and other LU-COP DCAS faculty contributed chapters to the book’s second edition (Dr. Melissa Santibañez, and former faculty members Dr. Catherine Hobart, Dr. Alicia Lopez, and Dr. Sara Thompson).

The book can be purchased through the ASHP online store at: https://store.ashp.org/…/ProductListing/ProductDetails.aspx….

Dr. Caballero will be attending the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Las Vegas in December 2019 to promote the book. He will also deliver a platform presentation at the Midyear meeting entitled “Fundamental strategies to secure a residency: getting a head start as P1-P3.”
