Yaidani Rivero is currently the Director of Student Financial Services. Her primary responsibilities at Larkin University include student financial services advising, compliance and administration. She is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and supervision in the Office of Students Financial Services including the review, development and dissemination of information pertaining to student financial resources. Yaidani meets and communicates with both prospective and current students to provide guidance and assistance with financial student loan applications, as well as provides guidance throughout the student’s time in the program.

Yaidani is a result driven Higher Education Specialist with 20 years of diverse and progressive experience working in financial aid compliance, administration as well as advising and counseling to students and parents. Previously, she held different positions over a 15-year period, such as, Associate Director of Financial Aid, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Financial Aid Advisor and Financial Aid Student Services Representative, at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Yaidani received a graduate certificate in International Business as well as her bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from St. Thomas University.

Yaidani is very passionate about her role in higher education. She understands the importance of making financial aid available to students and making education affordable. She enjoys working one on one with students and their families to find the best possible finance options for them. In her spare time, Yaidani likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys dancing as well as listening to music, but most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones close to the ocean, the place she so calls “Her Happy Place”.
