Teaching Interests
Dr. Adebayo’s teaching interests and experience are in Pharmaceutical Calculations, Pharmaceutics with sterile and non-sterile laboratories, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmacokinetics with modeling and simulations.

Scholarly Interests
Dr. Adebayo’s research efforts have been focused on the nano-encapsulation of antimicrobial agents in niosomes for targeting multi-drug resistant bacteria. He plans to extend the knowledge gained to other pharmacotherapeutic agents and biologics. He is currently developing niosomes of some antibacterial and oncology agents that are currently experiencing resistance from bacterial strains and cancer cells respectively, characterizing the niosomes and performing in vivo animal studies. The data obtained are being fed into modeling and simulation software (Gastroplus®, Simulations Plus Inc., CA) to generate PK parameters for predictive capability. He also engages in extemporaneous compounding for provision of patient-friendly dosage forms and their in vitro in vivo evaluation.
